LeRoy Thomas Criswell

	LeRoy Thomas Criswell, 79, of Elkville, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2000 at his residence.
	LeRoy was the Central Office Manager for Illinois Consolidated Phone Co. for 32 years.  He retired in 1983.  He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro for 55 years and joined the Elkville First Baptist Church in 1993.  He was a Deacon at both churches.  He was a member of Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge in Hilllsboro for 34 years.  
	He was born May 3, 1921 at Hillsboro, the son of Earl Forest and Selma Pansy (Green) Criswell.  He married Dorcas Ione Micenheimer on April 27, 1941 at Nokomis, IL an she survives.
	He is survived by his wife of Elkville; one son and daughter-in-law, Harry Leroy and Media E. Criswell of Elkville; two granddaughters, Lorie Lyn Davis and husband Bryant P. of Dowell and Patsy Jo Mitchell and husband Thomas of Elkville; five great-grandsons, Christopher Davis of DuQuoin, Matthew Davis of Dowell, Phillip Davis of Dowell, Nicholas Mitchell of Elkville and Noah Mitchell of Elkville; one great-granddaughter-in-law, Sharon DAvis of DuQuoin and one great-great-grandson, Freedom Davis of DuQuoin.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth.
	Funeral services were Wednesday, August 2 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Elkville with Rev. Roy Hill officiating.  Interment was in Elkville Cemetery.
	Friends were able to call from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin and from 1 until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
	Friends may make memorials to the Alzheimers Assoc. or the Parkinson Disease Assoc.
